Yesterday, Bernheim Forest won out over Alice in Wonderland. We headed to the movies, decided the day was too perfect to sit holed up in a dark theater, and meandered along various roads to Bernheim. It was one of those days you want to stick in your pocket then pull out to relive later in the year when it's snowy and icy. Large clumps of pink and white blooming trees greeted us as soon as we entered the front gate. Intense pink, lavender, and white wildflowers dotted the woods. The greens of tree leaves and grass even looked edible. The forest was decked out in its finest, all dressed up for the prom!

Man I am envious of you all getting to go to Bernheim. I sure miss it this time of year.

Bernheim!! It's been so long. Another one of the many things I'm looking forward to about moving home to Kentucky! Thanks for the vivid reminder. Lyla will love it! :)
